A few little things to know.
Will my QR code expire?
No. It contains your link directly and does not depend on a DropMake redirect. You cannot change the destination inside a downloaded code; create a new code if the link changes. Keep the linked page available.
What makes a code easier to scan?
Short links, dark ink, a plain white background and an untouched white border help. We use high error correction and preserve square finder patterns. Logos and photo textures can still reduce reliability. Always test the final download at its intended size, on multiple phones, and from your printed proof. High error correction is not a guarantee that any amount of image coverage will scan.
What happens to my links and images?
They are processed in memory on your device. This app does not send them to a server or save them in browser storage. Refreshing clears your work. Your hosting provider may keep ordinary website access logs. Downloaded files contain your link and any selected image, so share them accordingly.
Is everything really free?
Yes. Every feature here is free at launch, with no login, watermark or payment details.
How do I make a print-ready PDF?
Choose Print / save as PDF. In your browser’s print dialog, choose Save as PDF, A4 portrait, 100% scale, and turn off headers and footers. The sheet uses a 90 mm square vector QR including its white border. Print a proof and scan it before ordering a print run.
